Hey I was bored so I thought that we should list some skills we want to learn by the end of February and the end of March.

- Pike over the low bar to catch the high bar
- Tuck flyaway
- Layout flyaway
Beam:
- Back walkover
- Cartwheel
- Split leap split jump
Floor:
- Round off flip sault (high back sault)
- Round off flip layout
- Handspring front sault
- Handspring front pike
- Front sault step out round off flip sault/layout
- Change leap
- Double turn on one foot
March...
Vault:
- Handspring with really high rebound off the vault
Bars:
- Cast to three quarter handstand
- Consistent bars routine
- Giants on a strap bar
Beam:
- Cartwheel back sault
- Handstand held for 3-5 secs
Floor:
- Round off flip layout (high layout)
- Round off flip layout half twist
- Handspring front sault step out round off flip sault/layout
- Handspring front layout
- Switch to side

So yeah right down your goals too!

Kovacs on high bar.

Odds I'll ever get this skill are extremely slim, but it just looks like so much fun.

Speaking more realistically, I'd like to get my injured ankle back up to full strength and range of motion, then build back up to my prior level on vault and finally land my vault (Kazamatsu entry to double front, which to the best of my knowledge has never been done by anybody other than myself) in competition.

I also hope to get my double-double back; I had only just gotten that skill when I got injured.

YO!
Skills i would like to learn:
Vault:
Neater handspring - i have heaps of power but its not very neat
Bars:
Tuck on - i am so close its not funny
Long Hang Pullover
Toe shoot dismount
Beam:
Split leap split jump
Handstand Straight jump
Split jump wolf jump
Floor:
Round off flip sault (without spot)
Back extension roll to handstand
a really good front walkover
better at dance and leaps

vault:
- tsuk (tuck or pike)
- front hand spring full off

bars:
- better casts
- pirouette (on purpose, not as a fall)
- giants on real bar
- better toe shoot to high bar
- straddle back
- full flyaway

beam:
- back hand spring connected to something (actually connected)
- straddle jump without splitting
- gainer full

floor:
- full and a half
- front handspring layout pike
- front handspring full
- arabian
- better round off whip back hand spring salto pass

What I could reasonably get by the end of March:
Vault: pike tsuk on competition mats. Haven't seriously vaulted in 4.5 years, so I need to catch up!
Bars: pirouette to bail
Beam: cartwheel 1 1/2 dismount
Floor: 1 1/2 punch front, FLO front pike, whip 1/2 FLO

What I really want to learn for next season, if I keep doing gymnastics:
Vault: 1/4 1/4 front
Bars: giant 1/1 to bail; double flyaway; Gienger
Beam: BHS back pike; side aerial
Floor: 2 1/2; whip 1/2 front 1/1

Yay! I've always wanted a page like this!

Bars-
Half pirouette on bar
Clearhip handstand on high bar into giants

Beam-
Backhandspring on high beam
Backwalkover backhandspring on high beam
Round off back tuck off of beam

Floor-
Front handspring front layout front tuck
Round off backhandspring layout full
Round off backhandspring layout half front tuck
Requirement switch leap half
Standing back tuck
Side aerial from less than five steps

Vault-
Tsuk vault
Maybe round off backhandspring over trainer vault?

Tumble track-
Handspring double front onto mat
Double back
1 1/2 twist or double twist
Handspring layout full front tuck

Heh... LOTS of things! I might not make them though. Competition season... Again...

Just an idea, but maybe every 3 or so months we could say if we got the skills we wanted!

Stuff I have the chance of realistically getting by the end of march:

Vault: FHS
Beam:CW on high beam, and consistent solid handstand
Floor: BHS, BWO, front tuck, consistent FHS, and move bounder from TT
Bars: Squat on, half a kip, possibly a FHC

Vault:
Actually go for the vault more often :b
Half-ons
MAYBE flip a tsuk

Bars:
Gaints on the uneven bars without a coach standing there
Gaint Flyaway
Clear-hip to 3/4, hopefully handstand
Layout Flyaway
Kip Cast Giant

Beam:

STOP BALKING SO MUCH!!
Better leaps
Better presentation in my routine

My birthday is at the end of March, so I'll set my goal date then.

BHS on the low beam
FWO on the low beam or high beam w/ sting mat
Cartwheel - BT dismount
Front pike dismount
Consistent BWO

Clear hip above horizontal
Cast handstand (I've got mine 3/4 right now...I can do it all the way with a super light spot)

FHS-front tuck
RO - BHS - BT (back pike?)
2/1 turn
Split leap to full split
Standing back tuck off of a panel mat

Vault:
FHS 1/2
RO onto board, BHS over small table trainer
Layout 1/2 off tramp
Tsuk timer

Skills I want to improve or learn by the end of March :

Vault :
- get front handspring consistent
- learn half on (get hands all the way around)

Bars :
- polish up bar connection (figure out kip cast)
- learn clear hip or maybe drop kip? :)

Floor :
- improve roundoff backhandsprings
- learn front step out round off on at least rod o:
- learn front handspring front

Beam :
- get backwalkover on at least medium-height beam
- polish up beam routine (handstands!)

Vault- well I want to twist my yurchenko. But for right now a good solid pike is good.
Bars- I want to do my double back again, and i would like to learn a jaeger. Higgins to jaeger would be awesome. Also, get my straddle back to handstand consistent so I can connect things to it. Also, get a good solid freehip handstand and cast handstand. I have always had trouble with them haha.
Beam- Well I've chucked a lot of skills on beam like bhs back tuck, front tuck, side somi, aerial, standing back tuck. I guess just to get one or more of these consistent and to get my leaps and jumps up to level 9 quality.
Floor- To compete my 1.5 and work on doubles. Also, to work on my double back again. I had it to a resi but I haven't done it since summer. Also, to punch out of my front full. Front full front full would be nice. :)

vault:
handspring
Floor:
ROBHS Back tuck
punch front
Beam:
Back tuck dismount
backwalkover (better landing)
Bars:
cast handstand
Giant
layout flyaway
:D

I want:

Floor:
Backhandspring and bhsso (so close!)
fhs front tuck
punch front
barani
front and back walkovers

Beam:
cartwheel
cartwheel roundoff dismount
a much better handstand

If I had my back handspring by the end of Februrary then I would probabley die of happyness!!!

These would be my goals for about the end of comp. season which would be mid april.

Vault-
Fronthandspring front onto small mat in the pit instead of just pit

Bars-
layout dismount with full twist onto a mat instead of into the pit

Beam-
Compete a roundoff layout dismount instead of a cartwheel layout

Floor-
I would be so excited if i got my back full on the real floor
Fronthandspring front layout

Vault
- Be able to vault like every other day without my knee hurting

Bars
-Be able to do my bar routing hitting all casts and free hips within 20 degrees of horizontal
-Stop chickening out and do my giant on the real bars!

Beam
-stop chickening out and do my back handspring on the high beam instead of a lower beam

Floor
-Get my knee better so I have enough punch to get my handspring tuck back
-clean up my floor routine

Hey all, I just wanted to say that one of the goals that I had that I didn't write on here was a toeshoot front sault into the pit at gymnastics. And on Wednesday 10th of February I did a toeshoot front sault into the pit at gymnastics. The next step is getting some height, and after that it is to learn it on the uneven bars not the pit.
=] so happy!
P.S. you can write here when you achieve your goals!

My first competition of the season is the first weekend of March. Till then I want to do:

A solid clear hip hand - connected to layout flyaway. Atm I'm doing clear hip to somewhere above horizontal to an open pike flyaway. Also I hope I'll be able to move my giants to the real bars sometime soon (with a spot)

Beam: Round off. I can do it but I'm a headcase on it.

Floor: Dunno, survive the first two competitons cos theyre on a non spring floor

Vt: get consistent. keep working on the tsuk.

Vault:
- Handspring

Bars:
- Anything since I rarely get to do bars

Floor:
- Front tuck(then layout) on the floor
- Back handspring / robhs without spot
- Front handspring on floor
- Back walkover (hatehatehatehate can't do to save my life)

Beam:
- Better handstands
- Cartwheel
- Back walkover

I doubt I'll be able to do any of this by the end of March due to the shortness and slowness of my classes. Major downside to rec gym.

Vault:
Tsuk Layout onto one mat

Bars:
Caus im sooo bad at bars:)
Kip Cast to hs
Clearhip to HS
Get layout flyaway back...(almost there)

Beam
Full routine on competition beam
-back sault
-front sault

Floor
Full routine on floor
-1 1/2 layout back
-layout frontsault or layout layout connection

Unfortunatly its almost comp season for us too...ah well
