split leaps!?

my split leap is absolutely horrifying. my coach said its going to nailll me in my beam routine in December. What drills can i do at home to improve it?
 
Sit on the floor and practice straightening your legs so that your feet come off the floor.
Practice doing leaps with good form at your house
Sit in your splits with your legs and toes tight whenever you have time
 
You can do leaps or over splits.
You could also do leaps onto or over a higher mat.
Doing leaps with weights on your ankles might also help you.:):)
