It is a developmental program for young, female, US based gymnasts. Training strength, and skills, and testing on various ones. THe best testers in the country attend testing camps at the ranch and the best of those make TOPs team.

You have to be 10 years old or younger participate in TOPS. It is for the little ones. While you might certainly have the talent part JRose, TOPS is most likely not for you since you have to be at least 13 to be posting here.

That's kind of a bummer haha. But that's cool for the little ones :)

Do you know of any programs for beginners or something with the same idea as TOPS?

JRose, take a look at the USA gymnastics website for TOPs. They do have the physical abilities testing standards on the website. My daughters gym does do TOPs testing and one thing her coaches emphasize to her (especially this year) is that the point of the training is to make her a better gymnast in the long run, ultimately, regardless of whether she makes it to Texas .

Having the core strength and flexibility to do the physical abilities will make it easier for you to get your skills .
