tumbling floors vs artistic floors

my boys level 6 and 3 do tumbling and at the club there is only a artistic floor
i’m worried about long term injuries and they complane not having space
should i worry

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. Artistic athletes do insane amount of tumbling on those floors. Yes, if they are competing T&T they should have a rod floor because that's what they compete on, and yes, it's different, but I don't know why you would worry if they are learning to tumble on a traditional floor. That's fairly normal.
