USTA Nationals

On Monday we are heading to Springfield, IL for my DD last Nationals meet. I'm hoping she does well since she has missed so many practices this year due to illness and injury. The lack of coaching since they found out she was quitting is a whole other story I won't go into! Out of four events, I hope she comes home with at least one trophy and a lot of good memories. It's going to be hard on me as this is how we have spent our last seven years. I guess it's time to move on. Good luck to all USTA athletes at Nationals!

Good luck to her, surely just getting to nationals is a HUGE deal! Congrats on that!

I made it through DD last Nationals without too many tears. She placed 7th on trampoline (Advanced level 13-14yr), 8th on syncro-tramp (her teamate bounced off), 16th on double-mini (Adv 13-14yr) and 12th in tumbling (Adv 13-14). I think she had 6-7 girls on national team competing against her, so I'm very proud how well she did!
