This is actually the kind of stuff I was calculating in my dynamics class at the end of the semester! I had to translate the angular velocities they gave into radians per second so I could understand them better... I'm such a cliché engineering student. There actually was one problem in my book about the angular velocity of a gymnast doing giants as well as the force applied to the hands when theta equals 90˚ and 180˚. Unfortunately that particular problem wasn't assigned but I still did attempt to do the calculations.

I love how in the video they compared the numbers of what gymnasts do to other athletes. It makes us sound way awesome. :)
