In my opinion I think that you can have the persons attachment above. And I think floor beams and adjustable beam:

This one. We bought it through Amazon. You can buy it in 4-foot sections or you can buy two sections at a time. We initially bought the 8' (which is two sections) and later added another section, because back handspring practice really requires 3 sections. It is hard like a real beam and the cover feels like a real beam. The cover really matters too if you are practicing turns, as you want it to feel like a regular beam cover. Sits on the floor which is my preference to avoid injury at home. Sections join with a strap-like device through rings. It's a really great practice beam.
