I was surfing the web and came across this video

She's so amazing! It must be tough to stay balanced with missing weight on half her body! And that flyaway. Wow!

Just out of curiosity, if she were to compete, how would it work? Without a prothetic, like in the video. Maybe like this?

Edit: also, unrelated, look at her too!
Just wow.

Thanks!

She could compete as an event specialist or all around (if she can do Floor/bars/vault). She would compete against the "normal" people

What skills do you think she would compete?

Also unrelated, look at this guy. Seriously!

Gymnastics is so hard to begin with, and I can't imagine having to do it with one leg..

I'm always inspired by people who are able to excel at gymnastics despite physical limitations! Thanks for sharing, these people are amazing!

Depends on her level on the other events. Her bars is about level 6.
Say optionals. level 7+ I'll think about it and maybe see if I have an answer too.

I think bars, she'd be fine, because you don't really need your legs for anything but the dismount and she has that down.

Beam:
double chest cartwheel? Idk if that's dance or acro. OR Handstand to BWR or BER
Kivisto
Snap turn
Idk about the jump, maybe she could do it?
and back tuck

Floor:
BHS BHS BLO
BHS BT
Same leap and turn as on beam

Vault?
IDK maybe like it the first video and a super low vault

We rotated with a girl at one meet (Xcel Bronze) this season who was missing the lower part of her arm. She competed all 4 events and was pretty impressive.

I guess sort of like the first one, except her arm was missing up to about the elbow so she would have to drop down more onto her elbow on bars.
