WAG what's the difference between classic and invitational?

It depends on who's putting on the meet. If it's USAG's secret classic, or whoever pays the most, then it's an elite only meet that can be used to qualify to the USA championship meet.....The Real Big Deal. Any other competition with "classic" as part of the name is possibly a genuine for real invitational (most aren't) or just a meet with a neat name.

Invitationals?....... many are just really big meets that take teams in on a first come first served basis.
