WAG Wow, huge meet!

My dd is going to the Buckeye classic for the first time this year. We just got the schedule. This meet is huge!! I had no idea how large is was. It should be fun!

Aerials, where are you coming from? Which gym? This is the meet that our gym hosts. It is a BIG meet but it is really well-run (probably because they work us parents like slaves). Anyway the march-in is a fun time for the girls as a lot of them dress up for the meet's theme which changes each year. This year's theme is "Winner Wonderland" so have the girls and coaches start planning their costumes now. The website is www.buckeye-classic.org.

We are coming to this meet too! Is the march in before every session or on one day - like an event itself?

Just one day. It is Saturday afternoon between the second and third sessions. It is scheduled to start at 4:45 but you know how trying to set hard times at a gymnastics meet can be.

That sounds like fun!

My son is going to a "big" meet this month as well @ ESPN/Disney, but just for fun. This is his first season on team and he placed 3rd AA at our last local meet and his team (L4) placed 1st. I warned him not to have any expectations except for a fun experience. That and a bonus trip to Disney World!
