Hello! Does anyone know whether Xcel gymnasts can switch divisions mid-season? If the gymnast meets the mobility requirement in her first meet at a division, can she move up or does she need to wait for the next season?

You can go ahead and move up if the gym is agreeable, so long as it's not after the state's "declaration date," which is usually right before state meet. My daughter competed one meet as XG last season and moved to XP after.

Yes for sure you can. The 1st year our gym started Xcel, they put everyone in Silver for one meet and moved up the girls who were ready and met the mobility score in the next meet. Those girls then finished the season as Golds.
