Once again the west coast has to travel across the county to compete. Will they ever bring it back to the west coast? I have heard for the past three years that next year it will be closer to home. What gives?
Just returned from regionals, where my OCD got the best of me. It's frustrating to watch the number of athletes get up on the podium half dressed to receive their awards. I was told by our gyms coach that the athletes are suppose to be in competition attire, so that's what I was anticipating...
He can compete L3. A coach can register an athlete at the level he feels the athlete is ready for until L7. When they get to L7 they need to compete and receive a mobility score to move on. Keep in mind that once the athlete competes at a level they can not go back to a lower level.
Regional All Stars where the top scoring level 10 in each age bracket at Regionals. Then at nationals they would do an all star challenge between the regions. It was fun to watch and cheer on your region.
I just received an email from USAG and they have told me there will be no Regional All Stars this year. It seems like every year they take something away. I really miss the old days with everyone combined, the march in and watching the regional all-stars.
I looked at the schedule for Nationals and I do not see when the Regional All Stars is. Does anyone know when they plan on doing it? If you are a level 10 it looks like Friday is the last day of competition. I would like to schedule my return flight, but I also do not want to miss the All...
Does anyone know if the area hotels will have shuttles to and from the venue? I noticed most of the hotels charge parking, so in addition to renting a car you will need to pay a daily parking fee.
Can anyone give a logical reason for this? I understand not wanting other professional photographers taking pics for profit, but we should be able to video our own kids.
