Yes, You are correct about the USGA Rules. I said, that it would be competed at L9, not at L8. She competed her full perfectly as a L7 to gain the experience of competing it not because it was not required. Like I said, she will be competing L9 the next season after a couple L8 competitions...
It was just like I said the First time on the floor. I do not consider tumble track, pit, or rod floor actually getting a skill. Those are learning tools and this was her first time on the real floor.
How do you know that this is being done repetitively wrong, which I assure you it is not. All I wanted was to post a "brag" about how proud I was with my 7 year old daughter and you just consistently post negative comments to everyone's comments, and I posted this in the parent's forum. If I...
This was her first day on the floor and I videoed just the one double. She has had her full since she was six and competed it all throughout her Level 7 season. She has been working her double for a while on tumble track and rod floor and has those down pat. She has her double much better now...
Kyrie just got her double full!!! I am so proud of her, she never fails to amaze me so I thought I would just share my happy moment. Thanks!!!

Thanks all for the nice comments, so this is how it went:
Vault-8.8
Bars-8.795 not her best, having a problem with her hands hurting and is now going to start wearing grips
Beam- 9.35 (by the way in level 7 a split leap or a split jump can be used)
Floor- 8.8 -this was a shocker because I...
Kyrie finished her season yesterday at her state meet. I am so proud of her and think she did a terrific job. She didn't place and the competition was tough but she is always a winner in her mommy's eyes.
Here is a montage of her meet and please guess the scores: (I will post the scores...
Just a little montage I put together of DD mainly of her during her meet a week ago at the Gasparilla Classic in Tampa, FL. She had lots of fun and even got to meet gold medalist Carly Patterson.

So my DD finally competed her first optional competition this past weekend. It was the Sand Dollar Invitational and had a lot of great competitors. She did a really good job and I am so proud of her. Here is a video of the meet:

Thanks so much!!! She loves gymnastics so much. Everytime gym is over she does not want to leave, it is a struggle to get her out of the gym. Just today she told me she wasn't going to leave that she was going to live at the gym.
