Did USAG have any explanation for the new/different cutoff scores? did they recalculate your gymnasts' scores based on the new/different cutoffs?

Do any of the coaches or other parents here on CB know what the cutoffs were for the A and B camps? We have not heard the results for my daughter and our coach is away for the weekend. ugh!

My wife, who was at the Saturday morning parents meeting, also heard that results would be done at the end of this week. Thanks for the words of encouragement @gymlialyn. Hope your DD gets the results she is looking for as well.

My 10yr old DD got back late Saturday night from testing. She was excited about her results as a whole. Her scores from skills ranged from 9.0 to 9.5. She maxed out on her strength tests except for presses and splits. She had a fall after doing 5. She was very disappointed... Oh her splits...

My DD found out this past Monday she will be headed back to National Testing. She is much better prepared this year with the skills...keeping our fingers crossed. Good Luck to all the girls!

Thanks for calculating. I think I was doing a weighted average based on a 100% grade. lol. My error. But based on your calcs and that of scanlri's post, I feel confident she made it through as a 10 year old... We are anxiously waiting for our coaches to hear back for confirmation though.

How did you come up with that number of 199.2? If my daughter, a 10 yr old maxed out on physical abilities 60 out of 60 and got for skills 62 out of 72. Her % for PA was 100 and an 86 for skills. If those are weighted 40/60 i am coming up with a weighted acore of only 91.6? i think my math is...
