My daughter is competing Sunday, so we'll be at the meet, not sure if we'll go to the banquet.
It's her first time competing at this meet so I can't help with your question, sorry.
My daughter just turned 9 and is a level 4. (We're in ny and states is late May)
She practices 14 hours/week 3.5 hours a day M/T/Th/F. Privates occasionally on weekends.
Her gym does not allow for skipping levels no matter what. There are several girls that have scored perfect 10's multiple...
Mine is fine today. Although she's only 9, this is her 4th year competing. She realizes that this was a very tough scoring meet. Last meet she did awesome. This one, not so much. She is mature enough to realize there will be good meets and not so good meets. She knows she executed her routines...
Same situation here. Mine is 9 and has been doing great - yesterday's meet was a shocker, although her team did take 1st. Guess it's a good, yet tough, lesson.
This year my daughter's competition Leo is alpha factor. She normally wears an adult extra small. However, Alpha factor seems to run huge and we ordered her a child large which fits perfectly.
Thanks again, the feedback is much appreciated. I don't see her stepping back instead of forward into the full turn. Maybe I'm missing something?
I do see how she lifted her leg and then put it down before her back walkover... I'm thinking that may have been a deduction?
