Please don't apologise (at least I don't think you need to) - you made a perfectly reasonable contribution to a question that's valid for both MAG and WAG parents :)
We probably can't help with beam tips though....
I'm British, but Josh is at Level 4 equivalent and does 4 x 3.5 hrs and 1 x 6 (or sometimes 7) on Sunday
So that's not dissimilar at 20 hours a week.
Don't forget that MAG have 50% more pieces to learn than WAG (Although they're usually way behind similarly aged girls on comparable skills tbf)

Does anyone know much about this, that they can share? I'm sending my 9yo on a 10 day transcontinental trip from the UK for this (plus some training days and some theme parks) - no parents just his team and the coaches from the gym, so...

2016 - 2020: Local drop-in for a hour or 2 a week
Feb 2020: Sent for trial at regional centre
Mar 2020: Learning gymnastics over Zoom
2021: Pre-pre level 1. Displays rather than comps
2022: Pre-level 1. Local comps
2023: Level 1. Regional comps, national gradings (Club level)...
Son competed L1 at the National Grades this year, but I now learn that BG have changed the routines for next year, so the info I do have for L2 is out of date.
Anyone got any info on what the new routines are?
