M I am hoping that you peeps will be able to help me out with this :). My daughter is looking for a gymnastics rain or waterproof jacket that she can use as her normal day jacket instead of the Helly Hanson she currently has because she wants to show her friends etc that she is a gymnast?

I am always telling my daughter to dress smart when she is going off to competitions and that includes zipping up her warm up jacket, in fact, sometimes I will just zip it for her as it is quicker. So, should it be the coach telling her to zip up or, as the parent am I doing the right thing ;)?

Thanks :). I also have had a situation where we could not get to a training session due to the fact our car wouldn't start. That day she kept begging me to keep trying until the battery died and once back in the house she sulked the rest of the day. How could I have resolved that situation?

I am curious to know what your gymnastics child wears to their training sessions :)? My 8yr old goes in her team uniform and pants and even her warm up jacket which she zips right up to the top.

No, I think it is ok here. Maybe I worded it wrong though which may explain why you think it was meant for another post.

When your child goes to training, do they wear their jackets because mine always does, its zipped right up too which makes me think she must be roasting hot?
