I think you make a good point about 'from your naked eye seemed fine' lol. So much of what we as parents see isn't exactly what the judges see! I leave the judging to them, the coaching to the coaches and, when my daughter was younger, I was in charge of hair. Now, my daughter is a HS senior...
To the original poster, how old is your daughter/what level?
In our region, there are at least a few very well know gym owners who are also judges. Can't off the top of my head recall if they judge their home meet. Yet I know they judge meets their girls compete in.
Truth is, by the time...
My 17 year old level 10 also still loves her glitter! I, too, try to get a few cans at halloween. but you can also get it on Amazon.
I haven't found it to get everywhere but, then, I'm past the days of doing my daughter's hair so it may be all over the rug in her room but with the clothes...
Haven't watched but what happened that Simone got bronze? Surprised me a bit! Though it f course happy for all the girls. And what was the inquiry for Laurie??
I agree about the alternates…I've followed them along on instagram (and Ragan's coach, too) and it seems they are happy and enjoying the experience the best they can. The experience and bond is something they will remember even if they didn't compete.
I only saw Aimee and Mihai on the floor and mostly noticed Aimee interacting with the girls. Honestly, was looking for Laurie's coach…I love watching her with Laurie…seems like they've got great chemistry!!
I think I saw him midway thru (vault?) and they were commenting but I didn't know what happened. It was clear when he dismounted that he was in pain :-(
