    Parents Transitioning from Excel to Artistic

    Are there any parents familar with the transition from Excel to Artistic? This is my DD (9yrs old) 1st consistent year of gymnastics, she started in Sept 2011. She is training 12 hrs/wk at silver excel level, she has all the skills for level 4 except front hip circle and alot of the skills...

    WAG Gabrielle Douglas

    I am really excited about seeing her in the running for the Olympic Team. She has so much stength and power on the floor it is amazing! Sad to see that Shawn Johnson won't be in the running :( ... I commend her for stepping to the side to let someone else have a chance.
