    My dd is going to PT for that right now. I'll see if I can scan the exercises she does. It's not specifically to prevent gymnast wrist but strengthening the wrist and arm in general.

    WAG How far should you travel for a gymnastics meet?

    When you live in Hawai'i, any off island meet is at least a 4 hour plane ride so we do travel pretty far for meets.

    Parents Homeschool Programs

    I have no experience with it yet but we will be starting with Laurel Springs School in the next month or so. Seems like a good choice both accredited and NCAA compliant.

    WAG Funny things only gymnasts do

    I think the kids do all these cartwheels and stuff while walking because they don't know how to walk. Mine can tumble up and down the floor but can't take 10 steps without tripping on herself or something else.

    I use Reaper. Pretty inexpensive and does a whole lot.

    When we visited Orange County from Hawai'i, my daughter worked out once at Team OC and she enjoyed it. Great facility and coach.

    How are her wristbands? Are they stiff and rough? A wash of the wristbands might help.
