No. We have to qualify in our state at least 3 weeks before States. All of our other meets are out of state. L8+ can qualify in any state.

Let's hope! HC has mentioned that will scratch an event if not ready but if there is only one chance, there's no hope with a scratch. We don't have qualifiers in our state.

No we are spring season. Just praying it all comes together.

Has anyone only had 1 chance to qualify for States? Our gym is only doing 1 meet in our state. This means our level 4-7 have only one chance to qualify & that meet is in Dec.

For upper level, Lake Murray or Chapin.

Is this for rec or team? That would make a huge difference. Also, what side of town were you looking to live? Drive times could make a difference.

Here's a comment she left when someone asked how long she trains: "Michelle Newtown she has practice 2x a week for 1.5hrs each and then a week ago we added a one hour private. So she trains 4 hours a week now :)". I'm confused. Does she train at home the remaining hours?! That's even more...

I have searched through past posts but haven't found enough info. Has anyone gone to WVU, Penn State, MD or Parkettes gymnastics camp? Looking for just gymnastics not other activities. This would be for optional gymnasts. Give me the good, the bad & the ugly. Thanks!

I think that's the best way. Keep it out of the gym. I don't even tell my girls who I vote for. My husband & I discuss & usually agree but that's as far as it goes. On occasion, I'll know which way one of our coaches leans only because my ODD hears & sees everything.

What is wrong with people?! MD cancelled their meet against Penn State that was suppose to be tomorrow afternoon. They cancelled on Thurs night knowing the team couldn't travel today.

We have gotten over 30 in & its still coming. TG no meet this weekend. Anyone in Region 7 would not make it.

We have had 2 meets where the last few sessions were cancelled. We got a refund & was thankful we weren't traveling.
