I try to do my backbends but every time I lean back I go too fast. I sometimes can catch myself but my coach says that I need to work on them because I could break my elbow if I go too fast. I look at my hands but it just doesn't help. Do you guys have any advise on them besides practice and...

Do any of you gymnasts also coach? I don't train every day so I would be able to coach if it wasn't on a day I have practice. I want to coach really badly but I don't want it to interfere with my practice schedule which I'm sure it won't because I rarely practice. Once I reach a higher level tho...

It doesn't bother me all the time. It's like once every week but I wasn't sure if I should still tell my coach even if it doesn't happen every practice.
So after my brace I have had a little back pain here and there but nothing really major where I can't practice. Should I tell my coach that this is happening? It doesn't really bother me in practice but would the coach still want to know? Any opinions??
I would buy skin colored wrist supports because at my gym they don't deduct for that but I have known some to deduct for ones that are not skin colored.
