Our gym always has Z100 playing, so Bella comes home singing all these weird pop songs that are not meant to be sung by a 7 yr old!! I am kind of in the same boat here as she is with 12 and older girls due to her level. I would try talking to the coach to see how it can be managed.
Good luck!
This one made me chuckle, Isabella is putting me in this kind of mood today:rolleyes:
To answer your question, it's Dear Daughter, Darling Daughter, etc.
I don't know about competing USAIGC either, I just know it's a little less pressure and competitive. My older daughter (7) is going to compete level 7 this coming season. My other DD is working on her L4 skills. Glad to have you here!
gymluvr33- it's good hearing it from a gymnast's point of view. This post was really what I needed to explain to her what might happen. Thanks a ton!:)
1. How many kids do you have? How old? What grade?
I have 3 kids, Isabella is 7 and going into 2nd grade. Sophia and Ryan are 5 and doing their first year of kindergarten:(:p
2. How many years has your child(ren) been in gymnastics?
Bella has been doing it since she was 3, Sophia the same.

I can't stop thinking about Rebecca's UB routine, day 2. For all who missed it, I found it on youtube:

She really does have a bright future too, but she did rock that vault:)
Leistrafamily- Your DD sounds a lot like mine. When we got the results, she immediately started talking about the plane ride to Texas LOL. I guess we will wait and see what happens next year- congrats to your daughter!:)
Thanks! I think it's going to be kind of weird, like you said Middle school is a lot different from Elm. They will be talking about boys, make up, etc. (these are a VERY close knit group of girls) I don't want DD to feel left out or I don't want them to think DD as a tag along. Maybe I'm just...
DD had a coach like this before she quit. She was horrible and never put a smile on- and she was working with 5-6 year olds! (DD was about 5 at the time) I know you don't like to be "that mom" and complain about every little thing- but what are we paying for? LOL. I guess she doesn't know the...
She was one of both DD's fav gymnasts. So what is one mistake? You are definately right and she shouldn't get all this crap. We are all human- all make mistakes. I will look forward to her proving herself and seeing her at her best:)
The whole pre teen\teen against a younger child is mainly MOM'S problem LOL. I don't want her coming home saying she got ignored and such. At least I know my daughter isn't the only one going through this. Thanks- this was a very helpful post!
