WAG is there a list of the A, B, C skills listed anywhere

Someone posted this link earlier. It has images of the skills. I found it informational. I have been wanting to learn what the letters mean for a while, but I'm too cheap to buy the Code of Points. http://wagymnastics.wikia.com/wiki/Uneven_Bars_Skills

Parents What to do when the hours are too much?

Sometimes I wish the gym would provide a cot so my DD could just spend the night there[emoji6].

Parents "Not messy" compitition snack ideas

Her favorite protein bar, and Goldfish crackers too. ( I thought they were just for toddlers, but my 11y/o loves them.) She used to eat beef jerky at the meets too. Mostly eaten before awards.

Parents OPNIONS Please!! Coach out of line!!

"There's no crying in gymnastics". The coaches response was insensitive, but no one knew the extent of the injury until practice was over. Coaches are tough, even to little ones. As my DD told me once, "coaches don't give hugs, parents do" .

WAG If you could pick any US meet.....

The Buckeye Classic is fun. We stayed for the parade of gymnasts and balloon drop. It was a little party for the kids. We did 2 different meets at the ESPN Sports Complex in Orlando. Any trip to Florida in the winter is good for us.

    Wow on guests/lurkers

I've been lurking too, for almost a year. I guess my iPad is always logged on too. I just love reading the posts daily. My DD's gymnastics are slow and steady so I don't have much to add to the threads. This site really helps me learn about gym anxieties and how to avoid being a CGM. Very...

Parents My DD afraid of coaches

My DD is shy and doesn't like talking to grownups. DD hurt her foot at the end of bar practice one evening. She didn't tell any coaches what happened. Later in the night the bruise and swelling and tears showed up. She was having "trouble" with her bar coach and she was scared of him. We had a...

    WAG Too young for Optionals?

My DD went from L3 to L6 when she was 9y/o. She was always in the youngest age group. In many meets she didn't place, some she did. After one meet where she didn't receive anything, I asked her if we made the right move to advance her. "Mom, doing bad in optionals is still way more fun than...

Parents Who goes to the meets?

DH and DS come to the meets if they won't miss work or school. DS helps out videoing his sister on his phone. He can get closer to the action than I can. The grandparents are coming to the first meet, home meet. It's the only local meet this season. I'm regretting inviting them, I'm such a...
