She started complaining just after State that her Ankle hurt all the time. Come to find out, back in March, while at a Cheer competition, she rolled her ankle pretty bad, and didnt really tell anyone. She just pushed through it.

My 8 year old daughter (who is my dancer), has decided to take a year off dance and join her sister in competing in tumbling and double mini. She will compete as a level 5 in both this upcoming season and is so excited..
Now to decide if we are going to go. She got the bronze in lvl 6 age 10 tumbling. And 12 in Double Mini really proud of her, she improved her DM score by a 1.5 in 2 months.

Our state meet is Saturday, and tomorrow during the last 20 minutes of practice, the team will have a "State" party. Last year I made scrunchies for the team, but this year there are boys.

Her groups were HUGE! (well for what we are used to). She did the best I have seen her do on DM, but on floor she over rotatated a bit on her back tuck and took a couple of steps. She was fighting a bad cold and not feeling good, and I am very proud of her performance.

This weekend Carmie will compete at her largest meet yet. In a few hours we are headed to Salt Lake City for the Kalon Ludvigson Invitational. We are excited to watch the Senior Elite tumblers as well as seeing how she does competing against girls from other states etc.
