Sounds like the cast may have slipped if she can move around in it, it happens pretty often when kids walk on them. I have a ds with clubfoot so we know leg casts well he kicked one completely off as a baby lol. You may want to see if it has if so they would likely redo it.
My dd has always been a monkey climbing everything crawling and walking very early. We started mommy and me classes when she was two, and she has loved it for the two and a half years she has been doing it.
DD has quite a few she doesn't like toys so they are a good go to gift for birthdays and Christmas, and I also make them for her so she is always asking me to make more.
Yikes glad she is ok! My little one is learning how to ride a bike without training wheels and every time she puts her hand down while falling off she goes into a handstand lol.
At our gym there are only five coaches all together. One for preteam, one for levels 2-3 and then two that teach 4-6 not sure how they split them up, and the HC coaches all the girls 7-10 there are only 4 of them.
My dd is the same way she is doing a long hand pullover since she is too short to reach the bar lol. She still gets stuck for a few seconds like that but it is a much shorter time the more she has practiced. She also moves her hands from over the bar to under when she is over the bar like that...
My daughter doesn't do a bunch of hours right now but we are vegetarian almost vegan (we eat pastured eggs) I think if her blood levels look good you are doing great getting her what she needs. I just end up paying a little bit closer attention to what my kids are eating to make sure they are...
Our gyms I guess you could call it pre team they are getting the girls ready to compete around level 4 ideally only goes 2 hours a week and all of the girls are picking up skills at a decent pace and getting very strong. I am sure more hours would have them progressing more quickly but our gym...
I am a full time student so I am not doing a job outside the home right now but do run a small business sewing children's clothing that I have been doing for four years. Working at home allows for a lot of flexibility but it also means I am up most of the night working. Sewing pays for both...
I think the damage is something that depends on the person with the silicone ones. Dd only wears them a few times a week with no issues and I never take them out unless I am sleeping my hair drives me nuts when it's down so I always have it in a bun or pony, and have no damage. I do know a...
Thank you she hasn't so far tried anything they don't already work on in class, she isn't one to want to watch other kids older than her much or tv or youtube about gymnastics so hopefully that will help her not get too many big ideas about "tricks" above her level.
Thank you guess I should add to that I am not directing this and she is in the gym two hours a week right now which she feels is not fair lol. I don't critique or try and help her with any of the things she does but do supervise her on the door bar, and I don't know if she is doing them correct...
So I have read a bit on some things here not to allow your children to do at home. My child is crazy as I am sure many kids in gymnastics are at home. She is not learning a lot of things that really could be deemed dangerous I don't think yet but would like to know for now and future reference...
I can't remember the brand but it is one of the big ones and they are silicone. They are the only ones that keep my crazy thick long hair tight and I can't handle my hair loose for some reason maybe it's because my mom tortured me as a kid with tight enough ponies that they pulled my eyes back...
I may have used the wrong phrase I am quite new to all of this as well and just was told about the mock meets or in house meets during a meeting for my daughters class as one of a few future possibilities for her. Mock meet was the just the first thing that popped to mind to call it the coach...
My daughter does mostly because she likes them though she rarely gets cold and I have to force her to put on pants after practice when there is snow on the ground lol.
I am not sure my daughter is in a class right now that is set up to work this way but she is too young to really plan anything for sure. I just know they said they would have a judge come to the gym and have the girls do routines for level 4 and 5 and then they would get their scores from that...
