My team and coach put together a looonnngggg playlist (think like hours and hours worth of music) and we put that sucker on shuffle. Different genres and since everyone contributed there is something everyone likes; plus everything is clean. There is rarely a repeat during the entire practice...
Yep. And a recreational coach too! This is common where I live. Very small tight-knit area. The side judges such as myself (for compulsory anyway) are often older gymnasts. All the coaches at the gym I attend are expected to have the basic judging course.
Gym is much more relaxed around here...
My province switched to JO last year, and therefore is relatively inexperienced. There has been very few JO9 gymnasts around here, so everyone is pretty much learning together. Issue: my gym's optional code has been loaned to another for a couple weeks, so coach and I can't check JO9 stuff...
