Gymnasts Casting on bars

I need help with casts on bars. On the low bar, I can do a kip cast to above horizontal. But on the high bar, I can only manage a tiny baby cast out of my kip. Does anyone know why this is happening and/or have any tips to fix it?
 
Kips are different on the high bar because glide swing vs. long swing - it seems to me that a common training mistake is spending all or most kipping time on the low bar and assuming it will transfer over to the high bar. they are very similar after all.

I'd simply increase the # of high bar kips you do on the daily - try some different ways to swing into it to find what works best for you.
