AK 1 Beam Help ASAP

On the mount when you swing from a straddle sit to the squat position I tend to lose my balance. Sitting on the beam hurts my tail bone and I can't balance well. I haven't been on beam in probably a month or more so I lost my mount. I used to have it. But now I'm not swinging high enough to make it on the beam. I'm doing the kind where your left knee is flat and your right leg is straight down. And your left knee is at a 90degree angle. How do I get this by Saturday I have to compete.
