Gymnasts bent legs in aerial

i have been able to do an aerial since november last year, gymnastics is my first and only sport and i’ve been doing it since july last year.
at the end of my aerial, no matter what i try, i always bent my landing leg in the middle and i don’t know why. and it stays bent the rest of the aerial. i don’t know how to fix this because i don’t feel it bending at all and i’ve tried to keep it straight with no success. should i stretch more? i have right splits and an inconsistent left split but i’m not close to middle splits. is that causing it? it will be bent backwards but somehow i still land the aerial. not all the time though, it’s still very inconsistent and i can only land it on random days and on the days i can land it i land it every time. i don’t practice it consistently. what should i do? also if i could have any tips for getting height instead of traveling that would help a lot too, thanks!
