One of DS's coaches made an offhand remark along the lines of, "in order to move up to optionals, you should be able to do all of the compulsory mushroom routines on the floor mushroom."

So guess who spent a long time after school yesterday trying to figure out how to do flairs on a floor mushroom instead of doing his math homework? Arrrggggh.
