WAG Holding a handstand

I can do handstands, and my average time held is a few seconds. I can always to a half pirouette and a third or so of the time I can do full. Occasionally I've done more. Sometimes I can hold my handstand for a while, however, what can I do to consistently improve my handstand?

My gym doesn't focus on handstands, as long as you can do them. I'd like to be able to hold it for longer. Thanks :D
