If a level 8 does a BHS layout step-out on beam, does that cancel out the back tuck? Should it be either or???

You are only allowed 1 restricted C element for level 8. (All C dance allowed)

Since they are only allowed one restricted "C", if a gymnast has a layout step out and a back tuck, they would only receive credit for the first one.

Yes, they would lost 0.5 for the additional C acro skill. It would also not receive any credit as a value part, so if it was part of a series, for example, they would not get credit for doing their series.
