Regionals for level 8?

How exactly do you get to regionals for level 8? My oldest dd has gone to regionals and another one of my dd's has state next week and I relized I still am not sure what she has to do. I believe that it is more placing instead of a certain score. Anybody know what percent you have to be in or how exactly you qualify? We live in Texas.

go to your state website. all requirements will be listed there under "texas blue book".

It basically just said you qualify with a % of a %. How much does that % vary by? There are 53 girls in DD's age group.

its hard to say- a % of the % means it depends on on total # of L8 athletes in your state, compared to the other states in your region. I would be safe to assume texas has more spots than the smaller states...your daughter just has to go and do her best at the meet and then see how it all falls out.
