do them on a trampoline with small bounce without your feet leaving the bed.

in to a pit from a hard surface with the mat a couple of feet below floor level at first. build the mats up as you get proficient at doing them.

off a panel mat on to a resi. then on the resi itself.

make sure a coach is supervising what you're doing.:)
