Last year was DD first year on a team. She was on a level 3 TAAF team (kind of like excel). The competition season was this last spring (Jan - April). She loved every moment of training, and was excited to try out...
We live in TX. She is also in 6th grade, and I am amazed at the amount of homework she has. She also has a brother in 8th grade, and she often has more homework than he has.
Sorry to hear about that. :( It is a lot of work to do all those hours of gymnastics and then try to get the homework done as well.

Last season was DD's first time competing. She was L3, and her best AA was 32.975.
She is redoing L3 this coming season and is excited as she has worked hard to master and polish the skills and should see higher scores this time around. :)
DD says she wants to go as far as she can as a gymnast and that some day in the future she wants to be a gymnastic coach. She says that as long as she gets to spend as much time as possible in the gym she is happy. :)
I am happy to watch her pursue something she loves, and that she is learning...
