What are the most typical vaults for first year level 9s? What are the common lower difficult vaults, versus the ones that typically win? Thank you.

Most girls we saw this year were doing yurchenko pikes, more layouts as the season went on, those were usually the winning vaults. Second to yurchenkos were tsuks and then the rare front handspring-front.

My gym has 4 or 5 level 9s, 2 of them being first years. All of them compete back tuck or pike flipping vaults (tsuk/yurchenko tuck/ pike). I dont think I have seen any level 9s in our district or region perform 10.0 SV vaults for level 9.
