Create Descriptive Titles - The titles of the threads are extremely important. If you title them wrong...no one will ever find them in the future. Think about what you would search for to find what you are asking. If you are looking for help with a glide kip, a good title would be "Glide Kip Drills". An example of a bad title would be "i need help".

The title of this thread is "Thread Titles (Make Them Descriptive)"...the title is a summary of the thread.

From MoparStyle...

Descriptive Thread Titles Get Better Responses

  • Fact is that descriptive thread titles are more often read by people who are interested in the topic
  • Fact is that descriptive thread titles get a higher search engine ranking -- as the words in the title become key search words
  • Fact is that higher search engine rankings bring visitors who either have knowledge/experience in the topic -- or have questions about the topic
  • Fact is that a percentage of the visitors brought here from the search engine become members
  • Fact is that those members ultimately help MoparStyle grow and become a better source of information
  • Fact is that we all benefit from MoparStyle growing and becoming a better source of Mopar discussions
  • Fact is that titles like "Its here" "Guess What" "Yeah Baby".... while maybe being cute -- don't help the discussion or MoparStyle.

Simple thought of making a Thread (discussion) title more descriptive will help you, other members, and MoparStyle.

Try searching the key words that are used in descriptive titles -- and see where where they might appear in a google ranking. Try the same key words that might be in a post -- but not the title and see where the search engines find your keywords.

Thank you for consideration of this.
