I'm at a meet for my friend and she was doing her fly away off bars. (Tucked fly away level 6) on the fly away she hit her toes on the bars but Stuck it. What's the deduction for that?
When I competed it was the opposite, but remember, as long as the judges are scoring fair it doesn't matter! I was at a meet where they were scoring beam and bars completley fairly, but they were scoring vault super easy but then floor super hard! But the judges were fair! On vault first place...
YES! I did get the meet and greet but while I was waiting for it some of the gymnasts did come up to the railing. Alicia Sacramone came by and so did some other gymnasts, but I had already left for the meet and greet! Have fun! It's a great show!
I would say she should have an advantage! I was the tallest gymnast on my team, and bars was AWFUL for me because I was so tall! I've heard being too light for vault is true, especially for yurchenkos. But she should definitely be okay on bars!
You are NEVER too late to start gymnastics! I was a level 4 at age 10! Which was old at my gym! (not to scare you) Because you are 19, an adult. You should see about adult classes! You can go here: :: USA Gymnastics :: usagymclub.com :: and type in your zip code, different gyms will come up...
