If she is not sprinting at full speed then always fix that first. Stride length and number of steps are inconsistent when they are not sprinting. This is what we have started doing:
Always start run on same foot. No jump/hop/skip to start
Start at same measurement.

Is this correct? It is the way I read the text but want to double check.
Bars - the mount and dismount can count towards total number of A's and B's.
Beam - the mount and dismount do not count for A's and B's because the have to start and finish on beam to count.
Levels 2 thru 6 all just moved down one. Level 6 is a new level that did not exist before. Levels 7 and up did not change that much. You are just allowed to do a few different skills now.
I also wait until it is time to start learning routines to announce what level each girl will compete. I pretty much know now what each girl will do but I see several benefits on waiting to make the announcements.
