    WAG Lily's First Junior Elite Qualifier

    Definitely did not go the way we had hoped. Started on bars and I knew as soon as she started that this wasn't going to be a great meet. She ended with an AA of 46.050, she needed a 50.5 to advance. Luckily she will be able to try again in two weeks at the Biles meet in Texas.

    So excited that the USA is sending a junior team to Gymnix. First time in years that they have done this. Jordan Chiles Gabby Perea Deanne Soza Maille O'Keefe Russia, Romania, Great Britain, Japan, France and Belgium are also sending full teams. Should be a great meet.

    WAG What exactly does "Junior Olympic" mean anyway?

    I've had people ask me why its called that and I haven't been able to even make an educated guess. Can anyone tell me why its called that? Are there other sports that have a JO classification, too?
