Absolutely unexpected stirring moment

We were at my daughter's year-end banquet this weekend. They brought up the team from each level and presented awards. Her Level 3 team went up first and I was all smiles. After that, I was a bit disengaged, poiltely clapping for each award. Finally, they got to the Level 10 team. The four girls walked up and two of them had walking boots on. I was thinking to myself, "Anyone can talk about not quitting, but these girls got all the way to Level 10. And they weren't lucky by dodging the injury bug. Half the team is dealing with injuries right now. How much mental and physical toughness does it take to get where these girls are?" Completely unexpected, I had tears welling up in my eyes. I love that my little one has great examples that she can look at every day.
