how do big elite competions like worlds work?

I was wondering how the whole competition is set up, i know that they have qualification, team finals, and the all around.
Can some please explain the whole thing to because i am lost.!

They usually start with the qualification round. The qualification round is very important because it determines who will compete in other events.

Usually the top 8 teams are then selected to compete in the team final.

The top 8 gymnasts on each apparatus are chosen to compete in the apparatus finals and about the top 32 gymnasts all around qualify to compete in the All around final.
