any of you watch dance moms? What's that move called that they do that looks like a "diving front aerial walkover...but they bounce off their hands at the last minute, so it's not really an aerial"?? Anyone know what I'm talking about? There must be a shorter term for it... I think they are so pretty!!!

Thanks!!

It is actually called a dive front walkover or a flying front walkover. There are usually a few names for each skill in the dance world.

I am "tv free" so have no clue what show you are talking of, but it sounds like a front walkover with flight. I took lots of dance and they are more common in dance than gymnastics.

yep. dive front handspring step out. this is also used as a timer/progression to learn an aerial walk over.:)
