Any highlights from day one?

I was excited to see Shane Wiskus do so well, and Brody Malone back on 3 events, but my real highlight was Curran Phillips. Top high bar, top p bars by about a point, and according to the neutral deductions podcast and Brett, he has a triple twisting yurchenko that should be ready for nationals!

i could only watch a few events since I was teaching and the kids kept wanting to learn

Stephen N's pommel was gorgeous! Curran's Pbars too! It was a work of art!

I loved seeing so many of the men have a good meet, or good events. It gives me hope for this year! I am excited to be able to watch today's meet uninterrupted!

My son and wife were there for men's day 1. My son competed in the in club competition that was going on there at the same time. Some of my son's teammates were competing in the Elite Team Cup.
