Anything to do with squeezing is good!! stress balls are good for squeezing. you can get special wrist testers we have them at school that you sqeeze as hard as you can and it measures you wrist strength and is good for building up strength. :D
 
^ She is correct, squeezing motions improve wrist strength, at our gym we use tennis balls and we implement a rotation on bars for wrist strengthening
 
wrist pushup series

dumbbell rotations. hold DB in hand and rotate in circles, either direction. you can also work simply up and down or side to side.

bucket of sand- wring hands in sand (or rice or beans) squeezing it out of your hands while making a fist.
 
I have particularly weak wrists and my coach told me to buy a theraband and put it round my hand and pull it tight (so your hand is flexed) and try to push your hand to be inline with your arm so pointing your hand if you like
