    WAG Crop tops/sports bras

This to me looks more like a sports aerobics leotard/ gymnastics aerobic leotard which they perform in. They also wear the material wristband in aerobics which you can see in this photo. Guess it's just like a costume not worse then any other you would see at a dance concert.

    WAG Crop tops/sports bras

I'm with you here especially in country towns where gyms are tin sheds no air con. With temps getting to 40 Celsius (100 degrees Fahrenheit) crops and bike shots are defiantly the best option. All of our Australian leotard manufactures make half tops so we have the same if not more choices in...

WAG transitioning to giants from the strap bar to the "real" UB for older, taller gymnasts

I just did my first giant on wood bar after spending a year + in straps. Manly due to the fact we don't have a pit or single rail high bar. I went to another gym to do my first giant on single rail with a spot. I am older 55 kgs and was spotted by a guy coach. First giant was a bit scary (bent...

WAG Does different equipment at meets make a difference?

Coming from a gym who has a very old floor it's great going to any of the city comps the floors are supper bouncy in comparison. There is one gym who's bars are terrible the move around and no matter how much chalk still remain very hard to grip.

    WAG Cast to Handstand

Massive difference between straddle and feet together cast to handstand. Straddle is all about timing. Feet together requires more power and heal drive.

    WAG Greeting judges?

In Australia or Victoria at least it is compulsory to great the judges. They give your order, tell you what type of warm up, ask if any apparatus height needs changing and wish you luck

    WAG Over rotation

I have a gymnast that when doing back layout double twist misses her feet and lands on her back. She has the rotation around but just can't spot the landing. She has a consistent 1 and a half. Any advice on how to get her to land it?

WAG Missing Practice - Coaches and Parents Input Please

Let her go I am strong for not missing practises But I am now 17 and have realised I missed out on so many special events. Things such as important events school break up I try to get to even if I attend training for an hour or two then leave it. When she's old she's not going regret missing one...
