In the last two weeks ds has taken off on some skills again. He seems even more driven and more focused than usual. He's been diligent about conditioning at home and the coach has noticed. He is working harder than ever and seeing results! So thanks for keeping me sane!
Please reassure me before I become "that mom". It seems like ds is not getting any better the last month or so. It seems like he is losing skills. I watch every single practice and before I was seeing a lot of improvement and lately it hasn't been much if any. It doesn't help that we had a big...
We made it through our very first meet!!!!!!!!!!! Boy was that stressful. We just started a year ago and competed level 5 this year. He remembered all of his routines. I am so proud of:
*he stuck his ring dismount for the first time ever (usually he falls over)
*he did his ROBHS by himself

Some of you know I posted earlier about my dd and how slow she was progressing. I spoke with her teacher Thursday night just to thank her for being so tough on my dd and not letting her get away with anything. Her teacher told me dd is doing very well and is starting to get pretty strong. My...
I just want to say thank you for all the responses. I went ahead and signed dd up for an evaluation and she passed to level 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She did her pull over by herself for the very first time during the test. She was so excited and it just gave her triple the motivation. I am so proud...

My son has taken off since June in his gymnastic class. He loves it and is doing well. He is super flexible (splits while each leg is on a chair) and very very tiny. He is 8. He has a few obstacles he must overcome. He has autism but is high functioning. He also has psoriasis on his hands and...
Thank you for the great responses! She has also done Tae-Kwon-Do since she was 4 and does not have much coordination there either. She doesn't try very hard. I am really trying to find something she loves, but something I can get her to since I also work full time. She came home tonight and ran...
My daughter started gymnastics in June. She has been going twice a week since then and is still in the beginner class. Her main problem is lack of any muscle strength. She still cannot hold a chin-up for 5 seconds and isn't even close to a pull over. Her flexibility is atrocious. She is a little...
