Beam Deductions

We're just getting started in competitions and I'm curious of the deduction for a fall....it was on her dismount and she got back up and re-did the dismount correctly. What is the deduction for this?

A fall is .5.

If you are referring to a compulsory dismount, and if she fell the wrong way, the coach will most likely ask her to try one more time to get credit for the required skill. If she didn't try again, it is possible to lose the .5 for the fall and get another deduction for omitting a required element.
