All Chalked Up

Coach
Gymnast
Our province just switched to the JO program, and everyone (even my coach) is pretty lost. Reading through requirements, I seem to be L8, but I'm wondering what your "typical" L8 routines skills on each apparatus are. Thanks so much for the help!

looking on youtube for level 8 routines would be helpful.

vt: most are flipping a tsuk or a yurchenko

bars: kip cast hs, pirouette, kip cast squat on, high bar kip cast hs, free hip hs, 2x giant, layout flyaway (a small percentage around us had a double back)

beam: b and c jumps/leaps, bhs/bhs, r/o layout dismount (small percent did back tuck on beam and full layout dismount)

floor: b and c jumps/leaps, r/o bhs full layout, some combination of fhs-flo-fpike-front tuck (we saw a lot of front pike-front tuck but there were several flo-fpike as well.

These are the skills I normally see at level 8
Vault: normally Tsuk or yurchenko

Beam: switch leap, walkover handspring or handspring handspring

Floor:layout full, front handspring front layout, and back layout

Bars: Kip handstand, pirouette, squat on, kip handstand, free hip to handstand, giant flyaway

Thank you both for the replies! Looks like I'm on the right track. Just need a tsuk on to competition landing, and a couple skills on bars (giants, pirouette, CHH). JO bars are much harder than CPP bars!
